DRINKS AT SCHOOL
I should like to remind you that children
may bring only water-bottles to school.
This practice isboth for personal
health and environmental issues.
The coloured, sweet drinks tend to
make a mess when spilt, and also bring trails of ants!
We are always happy to provide
refills of water for the children.
Please note that this policy will
be strictly monitored.

FUNDRAISING FOR HAITI
Everyone has heard of the
large-scale humanitarian disaster which has followed
the massive earthquake centred on
Port-au-Prince on 12th January.
Along with other charities, Save
the Children* has put out an appeal for funds,
which they need to keep providing life-saving
help to Haitian children and their families.
In response, we will be running a ‘tuckshop’
on Tuesday 9th February.
The children should bring food to
share on this day rather than their own morning tea and lunch –
as well as money to spend on the
goodies for sale!
(Please bring any of the
following: muffins or other cakes and biscuits, fruit,
small yoghurt tubs, small bags of
chips, muesli bars etc.
I will provide hot sausages, bread
and drinks.)
Thank you.
