DRINKS AT SCHOOL
I should like to remind you that
children may bring only water-bottles to school.
This practice isboth for personal
health and environmental issues.
The coloured, sweet drinks tend to
make a mess when spilt, and also bring trails of ants!
We are always happy to provide
refills of water for the children.
Please note that this policy will
be strictly monitored.

FUNDRAISING FOR HAITI
We’ve received a lovely letter of
thanks for the $95 we fundraised on 9 February 2010 by holding a ‘tuckshop’ for
the Haiti Appeal.
Mrs Rosa Waddington, President of
the West Auckland branch of SCF, writes:
‘Thank you so much for
your wonderful fundraising effort. You
did so well, and the children of Haiti really appreciate your help.
As you probably know, Save the Children was already at work
in Haiti when the earthquake struck,
so they were right on the scene from the start.’
Mrs Waddington has sent us a
stunning SCF calendar for our classroom.
Thanks again, everyone!
