Congratulations to all of Terry’s pupils who did so well in the recent Piano Exams.

At the Preparatory Level, Elitisi, Charlotte and Alex all achieved Honours, and John achieved Merit.

These are colour-coded by subject and are awarded for excellent performance in tests and assignments.

Because all the children work at their appropriate level, all are able to gain these if they work hard.

They are designed to act both as a reward for past achievement and as an incentive for future effort.

This term I have written a total of 77 Merit Slips.

This is a sure sign that most of the children are maintaining, and in many cases lifting, their standard of achievement.

Congratulations to all who have earned them this term, especially to our top performers:

Alex and Israel (10 each); Charlotte, John and Jane (8 each); and Jenny (6) and Kelly (5).
